It’s not too often you encounter a comedian who can truly be so honest with his observations of life around him that he calls the shots with perfect strangers. Fortunately for us, Danny Bevins is one of those brave few who will make sure we’re all on track and bring us along on his version of truth and justice. After all, he comes from a strong background of both and employs them generously in his act.
Once upon a time a Jesus freak (his mother) and a Green Beret (his father) fell in love, got married and during an act of recreational afternoon delight forgot to use protection. Nine months later a comedian was born. He was named Danny Bevins because the staff at Tampa General Hospital believed the name Dreamkiller Bevins was inappropriate. Since then he’s been arrested, fined, fired, beaten up and excommunicated while being called a juvenile delinquent, soldier, flight attendant, patient, husband, father and lately “disturbingly hilarious.”
Now, Danny Bevins has been seen on Gotham Comedy Live, Billy Gardell Present’s Road Dogs: Chicago, Red Light Comedy: Live From Amsterdam, TBS Sullivan And Son, American Wiseass – Producer, Comics On Duty: We Love You Mrs. Bevins, Winner of 2000 San Francisco Comedy Competition.
Come out to experience the brand of comedy we can only refer to as “riotous” as Danny brings reality home for us on Nov. 6-7.
Up next, the hilarious Orny Adams delivers a powerful, incisive stand up routine that vacillates between the relevant and the absurd. Orny attacks what’s wrong with the world and sometimes even what’s wrong with Orny. He’s brutally honest, satirical and his performance is ceaselessly energetic.
Orny has had one hour stand up specials on Netflix, Comedy Central and his third special “More Than Loud” is airing now on Showtime. Orny has appeared all over television, most notably on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman and The Conan O’Brien Show. And you might also recognize him as Coach from the TV show Teen Wolf which ran for six seasons.

Open Mic Night Nov. 6
On Wednesday evening, be sure to stick around in our Green Room Lounge after Danny’s show for our Open Mic Night. Beginning at 9pm, this show features 10 amateur comedians performing 5 minute sets. Some professionals even stop by occasionally to work on new material. This is a great chance to see raw talent in its early stages! There’s no cover or minimum purchase, but audience members must be 18 with a valid picture ID.
Off The Clock Interview Nov. 7
If you stop by on Thursday evening, you’ll enjoy a bonus treat when Les McCurdy joins the comedians on-stage for our Off The Clock interview. This 15-20 minute interview with the comedians is a great way for audience members to get to know them more personally. There’s also a Q & A portion with the audience, so bring your questions about who they are, where they come from and how they got started in comedy!
