Multi-award winning comedian, Tommy Savitt, known to his follows as The Tommy Llama, will be gracing the McCurdy’s stage this week from February 6-10. Tommy stands for all of the nonsense, and none of the content, of today’s life coaches and will make you a believer in one evening of absurdities and baloney. This winner of the prestigious Boston and Seattle Comedy Festivals and two-time recipient of the L.A. Comedy Award for Stand-Up has also enjoyed extended performances at the Tropicana and Stratosphere hotels in Las Vegas. Tommy has been featured on WGN’s “The Bob and Tom Show,” SI TV’s “Funny is Funny,” Comcast On Demand’s “Man Up, Stand-Up” on mav.tv and on JLTV’s “James and Sunda.”

Hailing from Brooklyn, Tommy comes from humble beginnings as the son of Romanian immigrants. He worked hard through high school and college, began law school and even entered the Marine Corps for a summer, all in a quest for following his own path. Once he was hit with the inspiration to become a stand-up comedian, however, he saw the light and turned from his worldly ways to pursue a life of vision, insight and complete hilarity. He now uses his powers for good, sharing his message with audiences across the country and turning everything serious on its head.
