Whenever you feel like you might be surrounded by idiots, it’s probably because you are. Using a common sense approach to articulate the stupidity in the air, along with his Cuban accent that he wields like punctuation, Al Romero quickly gets his audience on his side of stupid, pointing out the dumb things we all say or do every day without thinking. If the story of life is a comedy, Al is the narrator pointing out the silly and often nonsensical things we do. With appearances on HBO, Showtime, FOX News, Evening at the Improv, VH1 as well as NBC and A&E, Al has been making a splash in the world of stand-up comedy, as well as writing and editing comedy, since 1980. Born in Havana, Cuba, Al came to the U.S. as a child and is a graduate of Florida State University. Currently one of the most sought-after headlining comedians nationwide for cruises, comedy clubs and colleges, Al makes it easy for us to understand why he’s so relatable, funny and talented. But that may just be because we’re all too ridiculous to get it on our own.
