For Valentine’s Day on Thursday, we present our illustrious Black Diamond Burlesque Show, and the weekend welcomes TV great Jay Mohr to our stage Friday and Saturday nights! Wed 2/13 John Carfi followed by Open Mic Night
After recently being in concert with Dennis Miller, Steve O, Gary Valentine, and Kevin Pollack, John returns to the McCurdy’s stage to bring us his unique crazy style, captivating you, our audience, and keeping you laughing.
John has appeared on numerous TV shows, including The Ricky Lake Show, The Statler Brothers Show, and Rascals Comedy Hour, and has hosted his own morning rock radio show on WZZO. He was a writer for Joan Rivers and has performed with Dennis Miller, Michael Bolton, Kenny Rogers and many others.
With his on-point wit and polished performance, John is a natural on stage and will make you feel comfortable and relaxed as he interacts with his audience in a funny and endearing way. Catch him this week at McCurdy’s on Wednesday night, February 13th!
Thurs 2/14 Black Diamond Burlesque Show
Just for Valentine’s Day, our Black Diamond Burlesque’s heart-shaped Valentine’s show features glitz and glamour like you’ve never seen. This special event includes the luminous Diamonds and their guests performing a live show in the fashion of a vintage variety show. Bring your sweetheart, friends or come alone to be wowed by music, dancing, feats of daring, and tons of glitter!
Fri/Sat 2/15-16 Jay Mohr
Actor, radio host, and best-selling author, Jay Mohr is doing it all and doing it well. Jay is no stranger to stand-up comedy, as he has been performing since age 16. He’s been a cast member on Saturday Night Live, a co-star to Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire and to Jennifer Aniston in Picture Perfect. Jay has hosted his own radio show, Jay Mohr Sports on Fox Sports Radio, and continues to contribute regularly to some of the highest rated radio shows in the country, like Kevin and Bean and Opie and Anthony… just to name a few. Jay’s writing credentials include his best-selling book Gasping for Airtime, in which he outlines his stint on SNL and the panic attacks he endured during that time. His second book, No Wonder My Parents Drank, is a hilarious look at the pros and cons of parenthood, and has been optioned by ABC for development of a sitcom based on the book’s content.
This weekend, Jay brings his perspective on life, love and parenting to our stage Friday and Saturday nights (February 15th and 16th). Be there to catch this Jack of All Trades as he delivers his life-learned wisdom in the funniest quips and anecdotes.
