We have fresh-faced comedians ready to make you laugh til you cry, open mic night where local talent takes the stage, plus our Humor Institute is back where you can try out your own jokes on us! Take a look at this week’s line-up and find some time to get away from the holiday bussel, or bring the fam and break out of the typical holiday hum-drum.
Patrick Garrity Nov. 29- Dec. 1
Fast-paced and full of energy, Patrick Garrity is not about to soften the blow and he rolls through his material based on observations and life experience. He knows what it is to sit at a red light with no A/C, or switch to ESPN for sports scores only to find a piece on Tiger Woods (isn’t there a golf channel for that?). With a show full of versatility and depth, Patrick orchestrates symphonies of laughter by developing fresh and original comedy that resonates with everyone. Because he started comedy at an early age, Patrick has already gained the reputation as a veteran of the road and has a bright future ahead of him in the world of comedy. Humor Institute Nov. 27
Come see these hilarious students as they graduate from our Humor Institute’s Comedy Bootcamp. They’ve been working hard on being funny, just in time to bring it to their family’s Thanksgiving dinner table. If you can laugh with them, laugh at them! Les McCurdy will host and special guest headliner Patrick Garrity will close out the show!
Open Mic Night Nov. 27
On Wednesday evening, be sure to stick around in our Green Room Lounge after the Humor Institute for our Open Mic Night. Beginning at 9pm, this show features 10 amateur comedians performing 5 minute sets. Some professionals even stop by occasionally to work on new material. This is a great chance to see raw talent in its early stages! There’s no cover or minimum purchase, but audience members must be 18 with a valid picture ID.
Off The Clock Interview Nov. 28
If you stop by on Thursday evening, you’ll enjoy a bonus treat when Les McCurdy joins the comedians on-stage for our Off The Clock interview. This 15-20 minute interview with the comedians is a great way for audience members to get to know them more personally. There’s also a Q & A portion with the audience, so bring your questions about who they are, where they come from and how they got started in comedy!
