Comic View

Being able to see the world from an everyman point of view is one thing; being able to write about it, laugh about it, and make others write about it is quite another.  Mike Quu

(pronounced MIKE-Q) began his comedy career when he won a comedy writing contest in seventh grade. Years later, after winning several local comedy contests in New York City, Mike moved to Los Angeles and quickly became a club favorite.

With a repertoire of comedy appealing to fans of all ages and backgrounds, Mike brings the noise with personal stories and witty observations. Huge laughs are guaranteed with these hilarious anecdotes and quick surveys.

Currently, Mike’s new show deubtes on Amazon Prime and he can be seen Monday night’s At the Comedy Store hosting the Comedy Madness Show, one of the longest-running stand up shows in Hollywood. Mike is also the host of the Teach Me I’m Stupid podcast. In each episode, Mike seeks to educate the masses on trending topics through in depth conversations with the world’s leading subject matter experts. Interviews include NY Times bestselling authors, FBI agents, multimillionaire entrepreneurs and behavior psychologist.

Come check out the hilarity that is Mike Quu, live at McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre, only on June 11th this week!

Then, stay tuned for Daryl Lenox, a vision-impaired comedian that takes his disability and journey to improved sight to a new level. Cracking ridiculous jokes about the inability to see like most people, and the shades of gray involved in pursuing surgery to improve his sight, Daryl has chosen to laugh in the face of life’s challenges and invites his audiences to come along for the ride.

Darryl has been seen on Conan O’Brien, Comedy Central’s Jamie Foxx’s Laffa Polooza, and Live at Gotham, A&E’s Evening at the Improv, BET’s Comic View, Best of BET’s Comic View Special, and the Best of Just for Laugh’s Comedy Festival New Year’s Eve Special. Starz Network picked up his special, Darryl Lenox: Blind Ambition, the first hour-long standup special ever to appear on the network. Stagetime Magazine named Daryl’s CD Blind Ambition “one of the Top 5 Comedy Albums.”

Daryl’s laid-back approach to serious material and ironic observations make his routine as endearing as it is hysterical. Check it out this week when Daryl Lenox visits McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre this week from June 12th-16th!
