Carlos Mencia and Funny Fellas
This week McCurdy’s has a packed agenda and we’re ready to treat you to some First Class comedy. Up first is Funny Fellas for One Night Only! On May 23rd catch Frank del Pizzo, Larry Venturino, and Christopher Cowles as the comedy trio, Funny Fellas, that will whack you with laughter. Three distinct comics bring their own flavors to the stage in one hilarious experience.
Then come back over the weekend to catch Carlos Mencia, returning to our stage for the third time. Carlos is best known for his comedy show, Mind of Mencia, one of the strongest additions to Comedy Central in history. Between his man-on-the-street interviews, studio comedy, commercial parodies or nation-wide sold-out tours, Carlos Mencia finds a way to connect to nearly everyone in an honest “tell it like it is” approach.
Most recently, Mencia has begun to return to his roots- stand-up comedy. He shares his most recent material with live audiences in more intimate settings, allowing him to pursue the career he loves while connecting on a more personal level with his fans. Mencia is always writing new material for upcoming comedy specials, television pilots and of course, his own stand-up shows.
